Guidelines: |
|
|
-Antigen Design Assistance is
included at no extra charge
-Typically, 45-55 mg of peptide
will be synthesized (at immunograde purity)
-Customers will receive all
peptide that is remained for the
project.
-Generally, it is preferable to
add a cysteine to the N or C
terminal of the peptide (if no
internal cysteines are present
in the sequence) for conjugation
to the carrier protein at no
extra charge.
-The 25ml of serum from the
third bleed is first run through
the nonphospho affinity column
to remove any antibodies that
recognize the nonphosphorylated
version of the protein.
-The 25ml of serum from the
third bleed is then run through
the phospho affinity column to
isolate only those antibodies
that recognize the
phosphorylated version of the
protein.
-Both affinity columns (phospho
and non-phospho) are included
with the package so that
additional purifications can be
run in your lab (or by Pacific
Immunology).
-On average, 2-3mg of specific
antibody will be obtained from
each purification of 25ml of
antiserum.
